A new year, a new era - reading Historical Fiction

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a lovely holiday season.

I have decided that this year I am going to come away from my Viking comfort zone and read as many books as I can from different eras. However, I am one of those people who really want to know about the era if I am going to read fictional books about it. So this year I will be listening to lots of podcasts, and sharing the best ones with you.

My first stop into another historical era will be the Tudors. I have many friends who adore this era, and yet I have always screwed up my nose to it - but, no more. I shall embrace this era and find out as much as I can about it, as well as discovering great historical fiction books along the way.

I hope you will join me in this Tudor adventure, and if you have any books to recommend then please do so!!
